Im buying a NX2000 that has a plate on it saying it is from Japan. Anything special about it, and how rare is it?

I believe all NX's were made in japan and shipped over. Unless this one was sold in japan and importe over at a later date.

the 4 NX's I've owned all had that....

OK well the only reason why I asked is because I went to buy a caliper re-build kit for it and they asked me if it was made in Japan or America

Check the front brakes...
Actually, the sticker in the door should tell you where it was made I think... or a letter in the VIN...
Anyways... if they are AD22VF's tell em japan if not tell em usa.

If you tell them Japan-made, you *will* get AD22VF parts... If you tell them USA made (as far as I'm aware, no NX2000's were assembled in the US) then you will get SE-R brake parts (AD18V).

when i went for a battery they asked me if it was canadian or american.:confused: i didnt know a diff.

Did any of you guys know that the rear rotors of a NX 2000 in Japan is bigger than the rear rotors on a US model NX 2000. Just food for thought.

well the brakes are AD22VF so its japan model

Look at the VIN and if it start from "J", that means the car is made in Japan. "1" is US, "3" is Mehico :D
Japan made Nissans have silver plate on firewall says "Nissan Motor Co." written in Japanese.

I believe "all" NX are made in Japan though.

i recently bought rotors for my nx.
asked if my car is usa or japan built.
and oddly enough the rear rotors are most expensive than the front.
