i have done a search and from what everyone says they say wait for it to warm up...well i waited..at idle it will be around 20-25, which is reasonable, but around 4000rpm's it is at 80pis and by the time i get to 6000rpm's it is at 100psi...to me this seems very high..anyone have suggestions? thanks

It all depends on your definition of warm. If after starting your car cold and letting it idle a few minutes and you're seeing these numbers then you're fine. However, if you're seeing these numbers after a 20-30 minute drive on the freeway then they are quite high.
For reference, after driving the car for about 20 minutes I get:
800 rpms - 9 psi
3000 rpms - 45 psi
This is with a VDO electric gauge and sender and running Mobil 1 5w/30.

To me that doesnt sound good but I really dont know why it would do that mine idles at less than 10psi and full throttle in 2nd gear its 60 psi at about 5500 rpm when its cold it idles at 25psi and gets to 60 psi real quick and ventures to 70 psi sometimes.
I hope you figure it out.

I would check to see that you have the correct gauge/sender combo.
