hey guys and gals...
got a question for ya...i did search in this forum and i still don't have a definite answer...the problem is that my nx2k squeaks when i slow down and roll on the road and also sometimes when i turn (while braking)...the squeaks come from the rear...im sure about that...but what could the prob be...im just guessing its my pads but i was wondering if there are any other reasons...please any suggestions? i hope its just my pads coz thats easy and cheap to replace...
thanks in advance...;)

If this squeaking is from the right rear I want you to take off your right wheel. Use the scissors jack to jack up the car at the point under the car where you are supposed to. Now put a hydrolic jack under the radius arm knuckle. Jack it up and down and tell me if you hear the noise.
1)Does it go away when it rains?
2)Do you hear it over rough pavement?
If you answer to all 2 (really 3) then look at the bracket that holds the sway bar pivot bushing and muffler hangar. The triangular one. There is a possibility that it is broken. I took all of my rear suspension apart trying to track it down and found nothing. Then the other day I was checking my brakes and I said..."What the hell is that noise?". Looked up and sure nuff it was cracked. I squirted some lube oil in there and the noise went away for a day or two.
If it is that bracket, it is a $10.00 part from the dealer. I amputting my new one on tomorrow. It also makes the rear of the car handle very sloppy.

......either that or check the rear pivot bushings on the swaybar that need lubing.

okie i havent jacked up the car coz i have to wait for the weekend for that but i did drive around for awhile to see when it makes the squeak...wht i notice is that it happens only when the rear bounces or is unbalanced (like climbing up a parking garage)...so i think u are right pretty white...ill check it out this weekend to make sure...hope its nothing big...
