: 1993 nx 2000 gtir swap

Hi everyone
having a little problem getting my nx to run ,we had a single throttle body sr20det swapped into our 93 nx and was running fine , we swapped it for a gtir sr20det with a gtir ecu & the nx maf , it tries to start but runs very rich !
is there a common fix , wiring change etc for this ?

u need the gtir maf for starters and did u follow one of the how to's for wiring?

Thank you for your response , I don't have a Gtir maf and i could not find the site for the wiring difference ?
Any ideas where to look ?

Yeah get a GTiR MAF, and did you flip the 2 outer wires on the TPS?

i didn't flip mine and i'm running a gti-r ecu, no issues at all

The gtir maf is the only maf that will work with a Stock gtir setup. To get that maf to work you will have to get that ECU reflashed. Cheaper to buy a GTIR maf off some one. U didn't flip the 2 outer TPS wires from your DE wire harness? Are you sure about this?:confused::confused::confused: It may plug up, but the GTiR TPS is different

i'm positive, with using the gtir ecu it should read correctly now if i was using a tuned oem ecu then i could see having to do that since it would read differently. I've been driving the car since june and have over 3000 miles with no issues
