I think the real question is how much money do you have and what do you want it to do... :D ?

I think the general concensus is that all the major road race suppliers are really good. Ground Control's Advanced Design, Shocktec, and Truechoice. They allow you to choose how serious of a custom strut you want and allow you to pick what lbs rate Eibach Race Spring you want. Another option if you're more focused on street performance and don't plan on adjusting your suspension at the track is the Motivational Engineering setup. Another option is to go with regular Ground Controls. They offer some of the advantages over the Motivationals but also lack some of the benifits of the Moti's.

I'm sure there are other setups out there... Do a search with the names listed above and you'll find lots of information out there on this subject.

the most popular setup around here seems to always by the kyb agx's with ground controls.

yeah, what sunny said :D

I have the GC/AGX, with the pillowball mounts, and new bumpstops. cost me about $900 or so. I got the GCs on a GD, and the AGX can be had daily for $389 from www.p-s-t.com

i think the truechoice and shocktech are like $2500. If its for your street ride, you cant beat the GC/AGX combo....

Scott Higayashi (Shigspeed) says he can put you in a setup as good as the Truechoice, for way less money.

It's *Higashi*... And yes, Scott can put together a suspension just as good as the Truechoice, considering he uses the same Koni strut inserts as the Truechoice suspension. I was the recipient of the first SHigSpeed suspension made for someone other than Scott himself... I don't regret making that purchase one bit.

I've heard a lot of good things about the SHigSpeed setup (sorry I left it off the list).

Se-rius> I guess that hardest thing about picking a "best" suspension is finding someone who has had direct experience installing/owning/and tuning more than one of these adjustable suspension systems. If you don't have direct knowledge, it's pretty much a guess which one is the best (even after you've defined what "best" really means to you...). There's just no way to pick a universal "best" suspension.

for coilovers, ground control's i'd say. im going to get koni shocks with hyperco springs. im not into eibachs or teins cause there spring rates are too low. 140-160 ish i think. hypercos are a nice 300 front and 250 rear :)
