Hi guys I have an OBD2 ecu im going to install a OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness in order to install a RT ecu since there is no OBD RT yet.

I was going thru the calum quick start guide and get stucked after installing the CDM files, it says connect your ecu to the pc before installing it on the car. How can i connect my ecu directly to the pc without using the consult port?

Another thing do i loose something like abs or airbag control using a B13 instead of the b14 ecu?

Thanks

There is an OBD2 Realtime ECU.

You connect your ECU to the PC via the USB cable that comes with the ECU. It's wired into the ECU by Calum.

No you don't lose ABS or Airbag system, because they are controlled independently of the main ECCS.

Can someone tell me the differences between the RT v1 and V2?
Thanks

V2 has auxillary inputs. This will be helpful when datalogging, or for adding external sensors such as boost sensor, VE solenoids, etc.

V0/V1 doesn't have this option.

Hi Calum, can you please tell me how to proceed in order to ship you my ecu to make it RT? (I already notice that you are able to RT my obd2, then i should go for the RTv2)

Should i fill the web form, print it out and ship it with the ecu and once you have them send you the payment?
Should I pay you first?
Do you have an estimated time approach of how many days/weeks you should be sending the unit back?

Thanks 4 your time.
Ricardo.

Is your B14 a USDM B14 or an imported JDM car?

Its USDM. I dont have the ECU number here but ill post it later on.
Came from a 1996 200sx SE-R.

These are the numbers in the cover of the ecu
5ZE1PP
JA18B88 BE1 5X09

It is possible for you to make that ecu RT Calum?
Do need more info?
I wanna setup the ecu for 333cc injectores and Z32Maf, i know you dont tune, but if you already have a bin for that will help a lot.
thanks,
Ricardo.

Is this for a VE engine?

Its for a SR20DE built, currently im having problems cause im running with the 333cc injectors instead of the 260cc stock, so im running to rich and fuel is filtering to the pistons. I havent been able to map trace my current setup, im waiting for my consult cable to arrive as soon as i have it ill post the maps, still you can see my dyna chart in another post from me in sr20de technical corner.

I have CP 10.5.1 pistons
JWT S4 cams
BC titanium retainers
BC springs
wallbro fuel pump
nismo FPR
G20 Ecu ( i will send you the B14 stock ecu)

Im about to install a N62 maf on it, already have a CAI in 3"

Thanks
Ricardo.

Ah, gotcha. I can setup a base program for that, but it will need to be tuned on the dyno.

Thats ok, ill go to the dyna and setup the ecu to get the most efficient tune from it.

Now how should I proceed to start the procees?
Should I ship you the ecu and make it Real time V1 (as im no running VE or boosted i dont see a purpose of V2) with the order form and once you got them send you the payment? or Should I pay you first and then ship you the ecu with the form?

Do you have an estimated of how many days you will need to work on the ecu once you have it?

Please drop me an email or a message on how to proceed.

Thanks 4 ur time Calum. I really appreciate your support.

(As a matter of fact i probably will be needing more RT ecus from you in the near future cause some friends are really interested on getting a real time as well, we can check on this after i got mine :).)

I'm not planning on doing any B14 RTv1 boards in the near future.

Ohh I see, then it is possible for you to make ir RT v2 instead since you are not working on V1 soon?

Thanks
