Hey everyone, i just got a sr20det blacktop with 70k from my friend's 180sx, i plan to tune it up around 250-280hp rev 8000rpm and daily driven,
as far as i think the engines still new and im just gonna build the head and go with turbo
i would go with brian crower 272/272 cam
brian crower valve springs and containers
850cc injector
full 3'' catback exhaust
hi-flow intake mainfold + 70mm throttle body
go with T66 or T70 turbo + 3'' piping
anyone have any idea plz comment, as what i said i just want 250-280hp so you guys plz tell me what i need and what i do not need as waste of money, thanks.

if you only want 250-280hp then dont run a t66 or t70. Get a t28 or disco potato so you have a better rpm range and less turbo lag.

I don't think you need anything but a boost controller to hit those numbers, stock turbo should work.

With a T66 or T70 you will make almost double what your wanting to make. I agree you should make 250hp on stock turbo with boost controller. And you shouldn't need injectors that big. Plus a T3 will be really laggy on the street and boost will come on really late. The stock turbo will be a ton more fun to drive in my opionion and get you your goal.

Just start with the small stuff t28 turbo 3in exhaust good tune and the car will shock you at how fast it is. Please keep in mind big HP #s dont make the care fast what you want is a good power band and good tq curve. The stock intake manifold is good for any hp you will ever make.

Do some searching. You're going to be hard pressed to make 350-400whp on a T28, unless it's a 2871R.

I agree with tekkie, I have a 2871r and it only makes 370whp, but trust me...it is plenty of power!!! U want more than then go with a T3 and your goals are endless, but you wallet better be to :)

A GT2876r will make the power you're looking for. If you use 272's I'd keep the stock IM and just go with a larger TB. Otherwise I'd go 264's, or stagger 264 Intake/264 Exhaust. How are you going to drive the car? (easy/hard) You might fry a tranny with the torque you're going to make if you really get on it.
