So i am tyring to replace my pads on my 01 sentra. I got the caliper off but I am unable to get it back on because I can't get the piston to go back. The Haynes manual says to grab with needle nose pliers and turn clockwise. I tried this but it wont budge. I rented one of the tools from autozone buuut it doest fit or work right.
Can someone please help me out as I am now looking at my car with one wheel off the ground and apart.

The front ones all you have to do is push the piston down with a c clamp. Cost like 5 bux .rears there's a cube tool in sears or any auto store that goes on the rachet

yeah I got the tool the issue is I'm turning as hard as I can and it just wont turn or retract. The front brakes are easy but for some reason the back is give me this issue.

step on the brake pedal lightly with the pads off. sometimes it just needs to move a touch and will go back in.

finally got it, i just had to find the right tool. Auto Zone gave me the wrong tool. Advance Auto gave me the one I need, it goes on teh end of a ratchet and then i could get enough leverage to get it moving. Got it back pads on and tire on jsut as it started pouring, I hope it gets better tmrw so i can get the other side.
Thnx everyone for your help. This thread can be locked now.
