On August 2nd I sold Chris a motor I had laying around for 75 bucks plus his engine which had bad valve stem seals. The only issue was he had to swap over some parts from his engine since mine didn't have every part needed. I spent a good amount of time helping him swap everything over and he said he didn't have the money on him and would get me the money the next day but since nismo doug vouched for him I took his word for it. Later on he gave me $65 and said he would give me the other $10 when his check cleared. I took his word for it again and I still haven't gotten anything from him NEARLY TWO MONTHS LATER. I've called and hes told me he was busy and would call right back, texted him and he would tell me that several excuses("will have it by weekend", "not a good time my fathers in the hospital", and he even told me to sell his car for him and he would give me anything he got above asking price...). A day or so after he installed the engine he had tossed a rocker because we had turned the engine upside down to install the oil pan and it fell off the lifter. I went to his house, installed a new rocker, a new cam, and shims FOR FREE. I did more work in labor and parts on that one day then he paid for the fucking thing and he is still trying to sink so low as to scam me out of 10 bucks. I gave him a perfectly good running engine, wasted gas money to go to his house to fix a problem that he probably should've made sure wasn't there before he installed the engine. I don't know how low someone has to be to try to skip out on 10 bucks they owe to someone that gave them a good deal and went out of their way to help them but apparently it takes a real piece of shit person to do so.

I know 10 bucks isn't THAT much but I'm 18, I don't have a job because of panic disorder/agoraphobia and lyme disease which I have to go to Mt Kisco for IV treatment every single day which takes up between 3 - 6pm and on occasions longer except weekends when I go around 9am - 12pm or 10am - 1pm, and I'm trying to get back to school which I was unable to finish due to the lyme disease and panic disorder. So I don't really have much time for a job so 10 dollars is pretty much going to make somewhat of a difference.

NEVER TAKE PAYMENTS FROM HIM. NEVER DEAL WITH HIM IN GENERAL.
i may have left him positive feedback shortly after the deal but i cant go back and edit it and change it to negative.

Dont really know the whole situation but it sounds like you owe him $10... weather its 10 or 100 shouldnt matter... the guy took your word for it and now he's out.. he could of told u he would give u the motor after he gets the 10... put yourself in his position. a deal is a deal.. when u buy used its as is.. no warranty.. just my .02..

oh and also u can ask alot of people on this fourm that ive done deals with and they will have nothing but good thing to say about me and i always send payment as soo as i say i want something so shut ur mouth:mad:

It's not my fault you didn't completely tighten your oil drain plug and ran your engine low/out of oil. I just want my money. Saying don't play the guilt game and yet claiming now he's possibly bringing you to court is pretty hypocritical... as you said no one gives a shit. motor ran fine, you drove it to my house... ran for a month before you sold the car. if it was related to me it would've happened a long time ago so its not because of my motor its because of however you drove it.

yea the plug did come out but not till like 20 feet ** i pulled over to see what was goin on, and i never beat or abuse my cars i treat my cars better then i treat my own girlfriend and that pretty damn fuckin good
