I want to have a 2.5 inch exhaust for my VE powered B13 fabbed up am looking for advice on resonators and mufflers that have 2.5 inch openings on each end.

Suggestions and recommendations on what and where to buy would be greatly appreciated.

I say go with a decently long thrush glasspack and a dynomax ultraflow muffler.

How much do you care about noise versus the weight of a heavier/quieter system.

I don't want it any louder than my Greddy and prefer stainless steel. Weight is a consideration but I prefer a system that will hold up for the long haul.

Magnaflow, If its good enough for Mike K it should be good enough for you. :) Get one of these (http://www.magnaflow.com/03cat-back/03ss/03stainlesssteel.htm) mufflers in 4X9 or 5X8 what ever match's the stock classic the best. Then use this (http://www.magnaflow.com/03cat-back/03ss/03stainlesssteelround.htm) resonator part number 14416. Then get the tubing and stuff here (http://www.magnaflow.com/03hardware.htm).

Read this (http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18563&highlight=Dynomax) thread and you will find some cheap places to buy the stuff.

As far as the Dynomax bullet as a resonator it will be much louder then the magnaflow because it has very little packing inside it to absorb sound. I have the Bullet on my VE and it is kinda loud BUT sounds really good with the Mangnaflow rear 5X9 muffler.

For what its worth I think it will be a little louder then the 60mm Greddy but this is just a guess.
