Hey guys,
I bought my NX in March of this year, but I'm finally at the point where I can afford one of my dream cars... a 4th gen vette. I like the handling of the NX a LOT, and the mileage is great for my commute to work... but it's just not a vette.
Specs on the car:
1992 Nissan NX2000
2.0L SR20DE, no mods at all
Automatic transmission
T-Tops
Red
Like I said, I bought it in March of this year with 147k, and it's got 158k on it now. I live in Brampton, but my GF lives in Markham (60km each way), and I've been to Buffalo, NY a couple times with it as well, not a single hiccup.
I've done the following work:
-205/50/15 Hankook RS2 tires on Drag DR-23 (Rota Slipstream) 15x6.5 rims
-B-Force Mu front brake pads
-EBC dimpled and slotted front rotors
-KYB AGX and Hyperco coils all around
-New left rear caliper
-Painted calipers all around (Duplicolour gloss black brush-on paint kit)
-New drivers side CV axle (replaced the whole axle instead of just doing a boot)
-New plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor and fuel filter.
-New Pioneer DEH-3800MP CD/MP3 head unit (has front and sub preouts)
-Raammatt BXT sound dampening material in the trunk and rear fenders, big difference in noise reduction!
-Krown rustproofing in August, the day before I went on a 3 week vacation, so there wouldn't be much dirt stuck to the underbody before the oil dried
Before I bought the car, the little old lady that owned it before me had the muffler and battery replaced and a Viper remote opener and starter installed.
The car also comes with:
-Original B13 14" rims with canadian tire winter tires on them, great shape
-Almost new Raybestos front brake pads
-Original front rotors
The body is in EXCELLENT shape, with only a couple of rust bubbles, and the red paint looks awesome, especially after I waxed it with Meguairs NXT version 2.0 synthetic car wax. I will do this the next weekend I get with decently warm weather before winter rolls in. The underbody is in excellent shape too, and is protected now with the rustproofing mentioned above.
I have used synthetic oil and Napa Gold filters in the car since I've owned it.
I've also changed tranny fluid and coolant.
This is not a project car, this is a ready to drive car that I depended on to drive me to work this summer and I will sell it with an E-test and Certification/Safety.
Price: I've invested over $2500 in the car since I bought it in March, so please only send reasonable offers.
I will post pictures if there's any interest.
