Assuming your mechanically minded, and have a knowledge of working on cars, there really isn't anything unique about the removal/installation of the trans. Fill it up with 4 quarts of Redline MT90 gear oil. The stuff is amazing.

One quick tip make sure it's a b14 tranny and not a b13 because It won't have a crank sensor and will throw the c/e light ! I just picked up b14 tranny for free for a spare trans. It has a bad 5th gear that i will be replacing as they are real easy to replace ! You should try that route first :biggthump

yeah i was gonna try that but i saw just a lil bit of tranny oil on the ground and i got down and looked at it, the guy has smeared the liquid gasket stuff all around the edge of the tranny case to stop the leak i guess, the drive shafts sound horrid almost like tin foil when you turn the wheel which im honestly amazed the car runs and drives as well as it does, but it was $500 so you cant expect miracles......im just wondering if there were any seals or what not that i should change out alot of cars have certain things that wear out ** others, im also gonna drop a bluebird engine in it so im gonna get axles, tranny, clutch etc to withstand around 300hp

sounds like you got a decent plan already.

Just check out the suspension...my '96 SE-R was beat to shiit...i had to replace both outer tie rods and need to do the ball-joints soon... pointless to have a car that runs like a champ but can't be turned or stopped.

Replace front and rear main seal and change out 5h gear.order urself some prothane motor mount inserts. What ecu are u planning for ur det?or safc. Try to use all sensors from us sr20. Just upgrade the maf to a z32 or maxima maf.ebay front mount intclr .usually can by a kit with piping or can use a w10 oem front mount .usually can come with oem bov.fuel system upgrade and you should be good to go
