You'll have to get a narrower tire.:(

Instead of a narrower tire, you should probably get some stock sized tires. Or you could keep the 195's, but reduce the sidewall height. I don't remember what the exact size is, but it is probably like 195-50-14 or 195-55-14. I believe it is listed on SE-R.net also. I had the same problem w/ B14 wheels w/ 205-55-15. I bought 205-50-15, and they fit perfect.

mpg9999 may be correct, the stock might have been 185/60-14. It could also have been 185/65-14. You could use 195/60-14 and 195/55-14. 205/50-14 would only fit up front and rub in the rear. 70 series tires sound way too tall to fit and from what you have described, that may be the case.

Stock for a classic is 185/60/14, and for NX is 195/55/14. If you want to run the larger tires in the back you have to use spacers.

If you're feeling adventurous, the clearance limits on B13 wheels are 225/50 up front and 205/55 in back:

Chris's 205/55-14 Hoosier A3S03's were rubbing up a smoke cloud against the rear struts, but I've run 205/55 Kumho V700s with only minor rubbing on the absolute limit.

185/60R14 Yokohama AVS-Intermediates are on closeout at TireRack for $42. I've had them in that size - they're a tad squirmy in transition and not especially long lasting, but they're good rubber for the money. And they fit perfectly on the stock rims. ;)

205/55-14 on stock SE-R wheels don't rub...at least the Toyo Proxes RA1 didn't. This is on a Classic SE-R. Don't know about lesser B13s; they might use fatter struts.

Ooh, that's a good point. The diameter of the strut body might differ, depending on who is running what brand.

Are the AGXes any wider than stock or the Tokico blues? Said 205/55-14 V700s on my car were with rear Tokicos, so I can't speak for the KYBs. Anyone still running stock in a B13 will probably be on AGXes by now.
