hi,..i own a 240sx 91,
i have the problems where the fuse for the stop light (brake light) keep breakin..i already change the bulb but it still gives the same problem...the taillight works though...just the stop light,,,each time i press the brake pedal..i can hear this *thackk!* sound..the fuse is 15A, should i use bigger fuse?(like 20A or somethin?) sometimes the fuse wont break for a while(3-4 days)..but it would break pretty close to that...
what is the problem? the battery? the wiring? cant be the bulbs..its new...
the alternator?(maybe...heck i dunno!!)

You have a short in the brakelight circuit. Check the switch that activates the brakelights and see if you are pinching a wire.

sounds like youve got a short somewhere. Might pay you to trace the wiring from the brake light back as far as you can. Also check grommet areas for signs of wear and tear, especially, if they pass thru panels etc.
