No way! I heard about that on the radio today and was actually thinking about doing that. I would never be able to convince my boyfriend to let me go though. I'm such a cheese. I hope you make it on there so i can say I know someone famous. ;) Write me and email and let me know how it went!

Well I learned two things:
1. Mapquest and any other computer-based internet maps SUCK ASS
2. Bensalem, although it does exist, is an invisible town, as is street road.
3 hours later...were home again not having even gotten close to phladelphia park complex.
Good luck to any of you who actually make it there today. Im going to bed.

Well, Rob went and said it was an excellent time. Said there was a lot less people then they expected. He passed the road course and then they asked him a shitload of questions. Said something about him having a good chance...............yeah right.....

oh yeah, he also said they took people for rides in Vipers, had a mechanical bull, the so called rock climbing wall and other cool stuff

Well, this is what I found out from one of my local scca friends: The vehicles that were promised: Dodge Neon SRT-4's were not there...they used the standard ACR neon. Apparently they dd not give a sheeeeit about who was fastest, just who came closest to the apex cones in the wanna- be autocross turns. He failed the driving test miserably because the "instructor" from skip barber said he was going TOO FASTand didnt SEEM like he had the slightest clue. This is a guy who has been autocrossing for almost ten years and is consistently faster than most in my region in a damn neon. Im amost glad I never found it case i woulda had that damn neon on two wheels...As for the vipers, apparently the instructors were told not to get the cars sideways because of the cost of tires to dodge...LOL Another guy said they DQ'ed him because he held a competition license (scca) and had enetered a race where rewards were available. That made him a "professional" racer. PUHLEEEEEAZE:rolleyes:

Sounds like they want a bunch of idiots who don't know the difference between cars and don't know how to auto X. I would have been perfect on that second part. ;)
Well I can't wait to watch the show and see how dumb it is going to be.
