So i hooked up my digital 6 ignition on my 96' 200 and it started up the first time no problem. So now a month later after driving it 3 weeks every day, i cant get it to start. It first started when i was driving on the freeway, it hesitated and died a little, kept running. When i went to get off it died on its own, i turned the key and it started. So i get off the freeway and it dies again, starts up again. I drive it for 20 minutes in the city and then it dies for good. So i got it towed home. Came back a week later and it started up. HMMMM So i drive it for 30 min. then it dies again. Pop the hood and wiggle the groung wire, it starts. Drive for about 30 seconds, dies. So i take the ground off and clean it drive fine for 5 minutes then dies. So now i cant get it to fire at all. Moved the ground checked the connections, bought a new cap and rotor and nothing, it will turn over fine but it wont start. I am out of ideas i am getting a new distributor from Dre. to run it stock but i need input on the modified one.

Have you checked the coil?
