Do any of you have a Nitrous Pressure gauge in a pillar pod ?(Mounted away from the bottle) . How big of a pain in the ass is this to do.....opposed to having a gauge on the bottle.

I don't have it...but as far as it being a PITA...Its just a matter of running S/S lines to the back of the gauge. Thats about it...Pretty simple.

NX now offers a electric nitrous guage where a sender is mounted on the line/bozzle/bottle, and a wrie is run to the guage, it works well from what i have ehard, and looks cool too, and it will fit any companies bottle, you should look into that, then you can mount the guage where ever you want, go to NXs home page and check it out.

electric sounds like a great idea. i wanna do a total stealth install in my car. so i need to be able to run things in tight places.

well i just got a price on that guage amd shit that NX guage is alot of money, $199(www.groupbuycenter.com) i think Auto meter makes one to but i need to do more research on that first before i give out info.,

can i hook the sender up to my autometer nitrous guage? can you buy the electronic sender seperately?

about the autometer, i don;t think you can use the NX sender, i think they all work on their own "codes", cause you definity don't want the wrong reading. i am still waiting on an email back from autometer, about the guage, as far as i know you need a electrical nitrous guage, and the sender to mount to the bottle. but i still think its alot, i knwo you can;t get it from summit you ahve to sepcial order it, but its upwards of $150 with sender, so you may be better off with mechinal, or the NX one, but there is the risk of the mechinal one leaking, and that is bad.

as far as i know autometer makes the NX electrical nitrous pressure gauges....

As for the mechanical ones...if they leak in the cab just look at it as AC without the drag of a compressor :D j/k industrial grade nitrous in any form is bad for you...it has sulphur in it, sulphur bad!
