Hello everyone,

I just bought a 93 G20 and I have recently noticed my car sputtering a bit. The idle is rough, inconsistant, and I have done many searches on SR20DE related boards to help with my headaches. To make a long story somewhat short, I want ALL the emissions shit out of my car ASAP!!!

Like I said before, I have done many searches over the past two weeks to try to help me with the AIV and EGR removal with no avail. Does anybody out there have a link for an AIV/EGR removal process with PICS??? I don't wanna remove anything that's not necessary or that will make my motor go kaput.:p This would really help me out tremendously!

Chad.

I know man, but the old lady was nagging about a 4 door. I'll teach her a lesson by getting a street bike:p

I'll check out that forum again just to be safe. I need something with pics though. Shit, I'll even post the pics if someone will circle the crap I need to take out!:D

I don't know much about removing emissions crap, especially since I am running the obdII, I'd be getting CEL's left and right.

Has it had a tune up?? Replace the fuel filter, fuel pump, or O2 sensor, maybe. Just a guess.

I'll change the fuel filter this weekend, but I think I'll wait on the 02 sensor because I'd rather install it when I get a new header.

Are you selling and parts off your SE-R?:p

IF you want to remove the EGR it would be easiest to get a JDM manifold. They don't have the EGR stuff at all. Pretty much all you do for the AIV is unbolt it and plug the lines. There is supposed to be an in depth article about it in the archives somewhere.

I don't have any engine mods at all. I was close to turbo'ing my SE-R, but then got the WRX and sold everything.
