I am ready and financially capable for a group buy. I race my B14 regularly and I have a Quaife on the car. I would love to have another one. ndahi@charter.net is my e-mail.

B13 diff being sent to OS Giken Japan for measurements on Friday. We'll see what they can come up with for us.

OS Giken update- OS Giken Japan has analyzed the B13 Diff for dimensional data and determined that they can fit enough clutch plates into the diff to have it meet OS Giken quality standards.
I have also worked with DGSpec, owned by a former B13 racer, that are willing to brand this as a product, if there is enough interest.

Please let me know by forum name if you are seriously interested in one of these diffs and how much you would reasonably pay. I'll start: $1800

thanks for the update, any reason you feel it should be worth $700 more than a quaife? if i'm correct we only need 10 people to commit for them to build at about $1100.. 'am i wrong?
cheers,

I referenced OS Giken pricing for other vehicles. Nissan 240 runs about $1600. OS Giken is fully tunable and the benefits are tauted in this MotoIQ article written by our own Mike Kojima.

have another fellow racer interested in the OS so I count for 2 (tel.787 667 6571).

Excellent, if we can get about 5-7 folks committed, DG Spec will stock the rest of the units of the production run.

You guys talking about a diff to replace the stock Viscous? if so, Cusco still makes 2 versions as far as i'm aware, both the RS and the MZ to replace the Viscous LSD's. They're ~AUD1100 listed as a retail price on Nengun (jap parts supplier). Just another option which can also be tuned and adjusted like the OS Giken for 1 / 1.5way action.

Looked into Cusco. They make a P10 and P11 LSD. Has anyone verified that the Cusco RS and MZ LSDs fit in the RS5F70V and RS5F32V transmissions?

They definitely fit the 32V.

who sells the cusco type in US?

The RS5F70V uses the same viscous differential as the 32V. Using a cusco should be ok with the 70 series transmission. People used the Nismo in the 70 series.

This sounds promising. I am working with Greg V at GSpec for Cusco parts.

I contacted Yasu at PPI about getting an ATS differential but neither he nor ATS can confirm fitment for a 1993 Sentra SE-R with RS5F32V transmission. From ATS, all of their SR20DE applications mean part # RNFB9510 for a metal 1.5 way clutch type. Cusco is a similar circumstance in that they list their fitment by model, year, and engine with no Sentra listed, so it turns into a question of how similar are the non-US equivalents?

I don't want to order a part one way from Japan to serve as a paperweight. Will the ATS RNFB9510 get me what I need for a RS5F32V?

If its designed to replace a viscous LSD then it will fit. An RS5F32V transmission is the same basic design (except for variations in ratios and external casing features) in japan, south africa, australia, new zealand, mexico and on mars.
