I want to hook up an Oil Temp, Water Temp, and an Oil Pressure gauge. I need to know the best way to get this done. I am thinking of purchasing all mechanical gauges but am new to the gauge game. Any suggestions on how/where to get the signals from. I know I can buy a remote block for oil pressure and temperature but don't know where to purchase one. I was also thinking of getting a remote oil filter kit at the same time as it might make all of this much easier. Where do you get the coolant temp to hook up?

I have mechanical oil psi, water temp in my car. I put the water temp sender in a Tee I got from the hardware store, then got 2 5/8 hose barb ends from napa. I put this tee on the coolant hose that runs to the heater core. For the oil psi gauge, I bought a sunpro Tee and metric adapter kit from autozone. If you use the nylon line be sure to tighten it pretty good, (don't over tighten it). Otherwise the line will blow out and spill oil in the car. I ran my lines through the hole where the throttle cable is.

you'll have to assemble various fittings and such for the oil stuff. The thread at the block for the stock oil pressure sender is 1/8 BSPT. you'll probably want to get an adaptor to go from the BSPT to 1/8 NPT.

I don't think you need to get a mechanical water temp since the electrical works just as best. Thats how the car reads it why not just get a gauge that actaully displays the temp. I have a water temp gauge in the car thats electrical then I have a mechanical oil press. Becareful on the oil line and like they said DO NOT MAKE IT TIGHT because it will blow on you. oil in teh cabin is not good, it has happen to me already. Try to run the shortest line. Where do you plan on mounting your gauges anyways?? Take your time when doing it no nothing is missed. Good Luck
