I need to know about this turbo. I know that it's a ball bearing stage III but thats about it. I have to know A/R ratios, wastegate type, and max horsepower rating.

is it the one thats in the SR20DET turbo kit they sell? The RX8 IHI?

I have no idea if thats the one. I thought that it would say T33 somewhere on their website but all it talks about is the RX8 IHI turbo. I dunno?

one of my friends has the RX8 turbo on his SR20 and it's freak huge. But I don't think it can out do a T3/T4 thats built right. In most of the *** mags I have seen the RX8 usally gets them a little over 400ps.

what is the max efficent boost that I can run? Is your friend on the forum and can I get any pics and specs of his setup?

As far as a good turbo the new Garret turbo's are real good, Not sure but I think they have a better exhaust wheel thats not 100years old anymroe.

Well the Exhaust housing I have no Idea what size it is since it's a IHI turbo, He dosent know either. It's a Apexi Equal lenth Manifold with Apexi External waste gate. He got all his stuff from XS and Apexi in Cali. I don't have his Email addy *** and even if I did he couldn't tell u anything but "it's Apexi stuff"

IHI doesn't just hand out turbo specs. Paranoid people missing out on sales... Yet another reason to love Garrett, HKS, and INCON.

well, I just learned that this turbo is also 2 years old. He is 100% positive that it's an Apex unit. He thinks that somewhere he read that it's a T33, but thats a Garett part #, and Apex only deals with IHI. I need some help! If I can get pictures or random numbers printed somewhere on the housing, I'll post them. Maybe you turbo gu-ru's can decipher it.
