hey i read the article on fixing the egr problem, but what exactly does it mean by disconnecting the egr valve? i looked but i dont see what to 'disconnect', unless it just means the vacuum hose to the bpt. right now i just need to test it to see if thats whats the problem. any help?

Just take it all off.:D

IF you are wanting to leave it on there and have it disconnected I think all you have to do is plug the hose the goes between the EGR and BPT.

yay i become unretarded to 10 minutes and did the egr cleaning, and it worked! no more surge and hesitation.:o

now to figure out how to take off all the aiv 'stuff':rolleyes:

Did you take if all off or just detach, reattach it?

just detached it, cleaned, then reatached it
