I searched se-r.net and found some article saying that PFR6G plugs are better than the -11 ones.. Anyone heard of this before? My Nissan dealer says they only have the -11 ones.... so does it really make a difference???

This is from memory so research it before taking my word but I seem to remember that the -11 plugs are extended tip - the tip of the plug protrudes further into the cylinder. Extended tip plugs don't make as much power as the non-extended ones in the SR20DE.

If I am not mistaken the -11's are already pregapped.

i'm pretty sure the -11's are the extended electrode ones. this becomes a prob. on turbos where you have to put the gap down to .025 sometimes. it makes you bend the electrode a lot and it might not get optimum spark or something.

http://www.se-r.net/car_info/engine_performance_tuning.html
talks about extended tip plugs on the SR20DE motor.
http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinfo/spark_plugs/partnumberkey.pdf
Decodes what the NGK part number means.
From this guide, the -11 means pregapped to 0.044" (1.1mm)
So I was wrong about the -11 meaning projected tip.
