i need new tires very soon and was wondering if 205/60-14 Yokohama AVS ES100 tires would fit my nx rims in the front. im looking for better hook-up at the drag strip but i still want to blast around corners, any suggestions?

ive been looking on tire rack and the great griping tires like kumhos victoracer V700 and ecsta V700 , but im concerned about how long they would last on the street. they do have dunlop sp sport 8000 that would have alot more life, but from the reviews ive read, they dont offer as much performance as i had hoped for. any body have any suggestions?

There are not many 55 series tires made. I Think Dunlop makes some that are 195/55/14. Other than that most of the time the smallest is 60. Unless you count Toyo's 195/45/14:D

I recommend the Dunlop or Toyo in 195/55/14. Isn't that the size that came on the NX anyway?

I think a 205/60 is going to look like a balloon. And throw the speedo WAY off. As well as hurt acceleration.

195/55-14 is the stock NX2000 tire size... I recommend the Toyo T1-S... That, along with the DunFLOP SP8000's are the only street tires you'll find in the stock NX size these days.

i got nitto drag radials on the front wheels and i use it for street driving. 205/55/14

when i went to the track with my worn out 185/60-14 tires and my badly slipping clutch, i managed a 2.4 60 ft. With 195/55 tires and a act hd clutch, do u guys think i could manage a 2.2 or better?

For road racing we used to run 205/55/14 BFG R1's. They fit a stock NX rim just fine, no clearance issue. Be ready though they are a bit taller so acceleration decreases a bit.
