I got into my car and pushed in my clutch to start my car. Except when i went to push in the clutch there was a crack noise and the clutch stuck to the floor. I now have to pull the clutch out by hand and it sucks back to the floor from even the lightest of pressure on it.

Now nx2000 have clutch cables right? not hydraulics so it doesn't have master or slave cylinders? what could be my problem than?

I do have basic car knowledge so if it is something simple i would like to fix it myself.

Could anyone be able to guess whats wrong?

Thank you very much in advanced

(I know this may sound simple) but did you check the pedal itself? maybe the crack was the pedal breaking.

First thank you for the speedy reply.

The pedal itself to my knowledge looked completely intact so i do not believe that is it. Also for further added information i quickly checked the clutch cable (as best as i can without removing all the things in the way) and from the feel the clutch cable still has tension. So does that rule out the clutch cable being broken?

Thank you again in advance for your help.

isn't there sometype of spring on the clutch assembly that springs it back, if you didn't already look at the complete assembly in the car real good do so and see if anything broke or came disconected up towards the top

Your clutch cable probably snapped, it wont always show in the insulation, just pull it out, it doesnt take much time at all
