ok long story short. replaced the turbo and what not. Finshed putting it back on last night. used teflon tape for threads for feed and where it t's off in the back(bad idea). Finish it and drive it and stop at a gas station and notice oil all over the undercarrage and it was dripping. You could see the oil feed on the turbo where it threads in was wet. So i take it home, pull the turbo off and use actual hi temp thread sealent. Clean up the undercarrge and leave it for the night so iT can dry. I go to work today, look under the car and still oil everywhere. Feed on turbo was dry and at the back. I noticed all on the top of my tranny (drivers side) was oily. I felt the line and about halfway to wear it goes into the turbo and to the back right around the top of the tranny area, i noticed the line itself was wet and oily. Now i think this might have been the culprit. When i took the turbo off, the line accidently i guess got on the battery and i didnt know at the time but when i went to grab it to lift out the turbo, I burnt the hell out of my hand and the line was extremly hot. It left a mark on my hand. Would this have caused the line to go bad internally? Maybe the rubber hose inside melted? Or something messed up inside the line? Both of my fittings are dry but the line itself is wet.
Would u guys agree on this?
Where can i get another t25 oil feed kit as the same one from go fast depot. I noticed that site has changed to murrays.
thanks
