Just installed these yesterday, went for a drive and could barely see anything. Headlights are pointed towards the cosmos! Through searching for answers i've come across suggestions to take it to nissan, have them alligned at a shop, or point them at a wall parked on a flat surface. While these are all sufficient answers, i'm a little confused on how to allign them myself. I had to do it once before on the stock ones, but I had the advantage of all the stock equipment installed. These Crystal clears were bought used and i'm not sure if everything came with them. The only bolts that shipped with them were used to bolt them to the car. The only one that looked similiar to the stock ones is the long bolt coming out near the top. Am I missing something here?

^Still in ghetto wiring phase. Will solder when problem is solved. This long bolt is the only thing that looks like it would adjust the aim.

^ Main reason for the JDM's. Looked for over a year in junk yards for just this damn corner.

I have them as well man...from the looks of the wiring I'm assuming ur using an HID kit?whether you are or aren't...do you have H4 bulbs in there? I used my 9004s when I first got them, and visibility was terrible. Those extended metal rods are the adjusters, but they really don't do too much in my opinion...make sure ur a good 20 feet back when u park facing a wall and attempt to adjust them. Hope this helps dude.

There are 2 aiming screws (if you want to call them that). The one you have pictured and another one closer to the grill. The one pictured above controls up and down movement. Park about 10ft from a wall while dusk or night and you'll notice as you tighten the screw (turning clockwise) the beam will go lower and lower. The other screw located closer to the grill adjusts the beam outward and inwards. IIRC tightening it moves the beam outwards and loosening it moves the beam inwards. I may have it the other way around but I too have H4 HIDs in my headlight and got it to light up just right. I hope this helps!

here's a tip i got from the Nissan Manufacturing Plant here in the Philippines.

get some sort of plywood or wall that you don't mind drawing lines into.

depending on the model B13 has a dot (for the lamp's center) cast into the glass or plastic as center, B14 if none is cast into the lens since this is aftermarket (look for where the centering of the lens would be)

measure the distance between the headlamps using the dot

now measure the distance from ground to center of lens

you can now draw lines into the wall or plywood

what you should have now are a couple of target marks for centering the left and right beam

park the car on a flat surface (better to do this at night)

place the plywood or your car away from the wall 5 meters back

align one beam at a time by disconnecting the socket for 1 side while aligning the other

look for the hotspot on the beam

use an 8 or 6mm (forgot) socket to adjust the 2 knobs until you center the hotspot of the beam on the crosshairs that you have marked one side at a time.
