BLK92SER 09-15-2002, 01:31 PM How do I get the instrument cluster out. I got off all the plastic around it, the bezel and the piece of pastic in front of the gauges but I can't get it out or get behind it to disconnect the tach/spedo etc. The two outside lights are burnt out and I am trying to replace them scmser 09-15-2002, 01:40 PM You have a speedo cable, unscrew it from the tranny. It's a black tube around your TB that connects to your tranny. Your cluster should pull out then. Serban 09-15-2002, 10:50 PM Ok, its very easy to get the speedo cable from under the dash, you just have to get your hand way up in there. Its easier this way than taking out the cable from the tranny. And don't think that just because I can reach up under my dash I'm some skinny stick figure, I'm 6, and 230lbs :D The cable has a push clip, just squeeze it, and it should come off.
