I have been having a speed-dependant front end noise problem that I believe are the tires, but I'm not sure. I would like to borrow someones B14 wheels or NX2000 wheels (wheel weights must be on the outside) that are currently quiet (B13 SE-R rims won't fit over the NX brakes). I only need about 15 minutes of normal highway driving with them.
Is there anyone close who could help? I can remove your wheels and put them on my car and put them back when I am done, you wouldn't need to do any labor.
It would also be helpful to put my (allegedly) noisy wheels on your car and see if you have noises. Again, it only takes a little driving to start hearing the noise. This might not be necessary, and you wouldn't have to do this if you don't want to.
