I have a 1999 Infiniti G20 with the sr20de, and I'm wondering if a sr20det head will bolt up to it. And will that change the compression to where an sr20det would be, or are the pistons a different compression as well? I'm sure the pistons are stronger, but is the compression the same as the sr20de? I'm planning on doin a custom turbo kit with the swap as well, but it's going to be a daily driver, not a track car. So I plan on keeping the stock pistons.

If you have a 99 G20, you might not have a roller rocker head. If NOT, just boost the stock engine. The compression ratio is piston based but if it is 9.5:1 you can boost that. There re people on here with 10:1 UK motors on boost.

Especially because it has 119000 miles on it, it makes me nervous to boost it with that high of compression. Is there any way to tell if it has roller rockers without pulling the valve covers?
