Thanks Louis. Does your group ever have courses as fast as ours? I like the great flow and higher average speeds at our events.

When we were on the Nashville Superspeedway grounds, it was always a fast course. The lot was huge, and the Chair has an STi, so it was fast and long most of the time.

Our new lot is more technical and has a few elevation changes, but I'm never close to the top of 2nd on this one.

Great news for the 2010 season. The Poughkeepsie Sports Car Club has picked up yet another great site for the 2010 season. This site is the parking lot of Dutchess Stadium seen here: http://tinyurl.com/yk2mqcm

It is a very smooth surface made of grounded asphalt. This site will not rut up so weather will not be a problem. Any car should be able to run here. This site, along with the Griegs farm fields should make for a great 2010 series!

are you a member? i keep missing the monthly meets.Yes, and I ran the full series last year in 2WD Modified. I haven't been to any club meetings though, as I they're down in Poughkeepsie area and I'm up in the Albany area.

does pscc membership cover scca membership fees or is that additional? The memberships are separate. The SCCA membership gets you the $10 discount per event, and the PSCC membership is optional [@ $30/year]. The nice thing about joining the PSCC is that if your car breaks [or you simply don't have a car to run in these events] members can use the "Club Cars" that are maintained and ferried to and from each month's event. It also helps support the club that makes this all possible. That's why I am a member.

I have been seriously toying with the idea of de-turboing my SE-R and running in Cascade sport car club this year. Looks like so much fun.

It's always cool to have another B13 strutting it's stuff on loose surfaces.

Thanks man. I just don't have the parts or the workspace. It would be nice to have a fun car that I can drive all out again. You need more than 2" of clearance for your exhaust/downpipe in rallycross right?

The SR engine is very tall, and the lower oil pans are way too vulnerable.

I beleive their [and your] region of SCCA is the New York Region. It doesn't matter what region you join. For instance I belong to the Finger Lakes Region, even though my local region is the MoHud. MoHud has no rally program so I joined the FLR for their winter tsd series I run in.
