i want to fix it seeing as i do a lot of driving at night for my one job..its just more annoying than anything else..i need to use my GPS speedometer to tell how fast im going! lol..but like i said its just more annoying than anything else..so id like to fix it!

Your dimmer is bad. Same thing happened to me. Either get one from a junkyard or check if its turned down. If neither works, then something in your cluster may have burnt out.

yea, i tried rolling the little dial and nothing happens..ill try taking the dimmer out,,would it be wired the same and all the pins in the same location for all b14s? *** i know the window switches are wired differently..a junkyard switch was all crazy different from mine when i put it in my car..

not sure, but if you grab one from a local u-pull-it, just plug and play.

It's probably wiring. I don't know the condition of the wires in the dash and under it for your car, but for mine it was spliced to other wires for no reason. My climate control didn't light up, and the turn signals didn't light up in the cluster. I ended up pulling out the cluster and connecting all the wires to their correct locations, and had more issues. Then went underneath the dash and found more wiring issues, and ended up fixing my problems. Good luck with your lighting problems.

hey guys, sorry to bump an old post but i'm having the same problem. my dimmer does work, i just have no tach, fuel, speedo, or engine heat guage light. my turn signals, oil, brake, etc all work though. i've yet to crack open the dash (lazy) but i'm hoping it's just the bulbs. is it possible all the bulbs burned out at nearly the same time?

Its highly unlikey that they all went out at once. The dimmer switch is pretty easy to replace. Thats most likely the problem.

me again... i pulled out the dash again and put new lights in, nothing, took them out fiddled with them and put them back in...nothing. my dimmer switch works. where is said fuse? i'm not too inclined when it comes to auto electronics, is the fuse in the panel to the lower left of the steering wheel or is it somewhere under the hood? thanks alot guys, an answer via PM would be appreciated!

Fuse is in the dash and it's marked Tail Lights. If all of your side marker, tail & front "clearance" lights are out too, then you've probably blown the fuse.
When the fuse is blown, to diagnose whether the problem is with the exterior lights or dash lights, disconnect the dimmer switch, put in a new fuse and turn your lights on. If the fuse still blows, the problem is somewhere in the body lights or switch. If the fuse doesn't blow, then the problem is in the switch or the instrument panel.
