What are the vacuum readings you guys get with your DET motor? Mine is around 14-17. Is that in the normal range? Thanks

I had 16 before, but my gauge wasn't reading correctly. Now I have an autometer that reads 20. Normally it should be in the 17-20 in-Hg range. That is for my BB DET.

yeah my sits at 20 during idle on the Autometer gauge

normal eng. operation is 17-22hg steady needle. use a real gauge connected to a good source like the intake manifold straight or tee it of at the fpr.
