I cant get these fuel injectors out of the stock fuel rail for the life of me, I got one out, but busted the little plastic cap on the bottom. Do you guys have any tricks to get them out? I tried vice grips on the square things on the top, they turn but dont wanna come out...can I spray any type of lubricant down in there or solvent? Will anything hurt it? Please help guys!!

I talked to JGY and he said to spray some lube down there and use vice grips and turn back and forth. I haven't done it my self but I will be in the next couple of days so let me know how it goes. Good Luck!!!

well, I have a method, but there's a very high chance (95%) that you'll damage the fuel injector so you can't use it again.

Stick a big flat head screw driver under the plug part of the injector and use the valve cover as a pivot point to pop it out. Gotta be careful though because when it goes, it goes flying! Best to have a towel in the area to protect things.

I used vice grips and brute force to get them out, I got 'em out though..I didnt use any lubricant becuase I didnt know if it would hurt the injectors or anything. I grabbed the top square part and then pulled as hard as I could while turning them slightly, took about 5 minutes for each injector, I had to take a break between each injector though...:D Now I have a nice clean fuel rail for when I get my 555cc NISMO injectors.. Thanks for all your replys guys.

A method that worked for us before was spraying some lube and using 2 small flathead screwdrivers. Basically you poke one screwdriver through the little hole on the side of the injector and put the other screwdriver under that one to form a a cross. You kinda go up and down between each side of the injector loosening it by a little until it just pops out with the top screwdriver while using the perpendicular bottom one as a pivot point. A little patience and no damaged injectors. It helps if you have beer with you ;)

The method that works for me was:

Fold a towel so that you have about 4 layers of cushion and place it over something hard and flat and strike the center of the fuel injector on it (hard really hard but about medium). Just to let you know I did not break any of the plastic caps but before you do this get the injector to turn to by hand so that you break any seal present.
