I posted earlier that daves exhaust was not fitting on my car. Well i talked with dave and we think that the DP may be to long. Is anyone else running JGY's DP with daves exhaust and if so did u have this problem? I just want to make sure of what is wrong before i take the exhaust to a shop to get fixed.

I know for one thing, the JGY DP twists my entire exhaust and makes it not fit right. It bangs on the heatshields. My catalytic converter is rotated a bit so that it bangs against the heatshields. I had this problem as well when I still had my Greddy exhaust so it is not the catback's problem.

keep in mind folks... that when you buy exhaust components.. it's damn near impossible to get it 100% accurate on every one made. If you were to buy a complete exhaust system from a company... with the downpipe specifically for your car.. then you might not have any issues. Just have a muffler shop make the appropriate fixes.. as I'm sure they won't be that major.

I have had no fitment problems with the Ex sytems that I have sold and all my Downpipes have had no complaints yet. They can be bought in 2.5 in and 3 in.

Doesn't VRS make your exhaust stuff Andreas?

How much do your 2.5" downpipes go for Andreas?

Well, considering that Dave's exhaust is made on a jig, if it bolts onto the jig, it will bolt onto a B13. That is, given that you have a stock cat and a downpipe that doesn't move your exhaust at all.

well my asspipe didnt fit at first because I had an aftermarket cat that was like 3/4's of an inch longer than the stock cat...but good ol Dave took care of that problem for me by cutting the piping on the cat shorter to make the exhaust fit. $400 for a brand new 3 inch exhaust isn't too shabby.;)
