: Deleting all emissions (91 se-r)
joshiedoom 11-30-2009, 10:13 AM My bud has a 91 se-r that has been abused and poorly maintained throughout its over 200k life. Most is still bone stock but after replacing all the brakes, axles, balljoints, and the tuneup stuff its time to delete emissions. Does anyone make an egr plate for the intake? Any writeups? Help>? Yeah I had it ready to take off and cut out some plates outta bar stock but I ran outta time and i hadnt slept in a couple days(third shift ftw) but they are ordered.
Car has a wierd idle and doesnt like 30 degree weather, new 02 sensor, gonna clean the injectors, change some more vacuum lines(rotted) and then if its not it then well be looking at the maf, and other sensors. I need to find the iat sensor and iac sensor(if it has those, im used to gm stuff) and replace those.
speedkills 12-01-2009, 09:42 PM check and reset the TPS if nothing else fixes the cold weather problem. my 93 was doing the same thing and i checked the tps and it was at .28, changed it to .5 and it runs great in the cold now.
joshiedoom 12-01-2009, 09:44 PM How do you do this????
joshiedoom 12-01-2009, 09:51 PM I looked at a replacement tps and it seems like you can degree the tps....
joshiedoom 12-06-2009, 03:46 PM Update. Emissions deleted, all random vacuum lines deleted, TB cleaned with new gasket and what do you know, i found a TB heater, so it got bypassed. I messed with the TPS till it idles in cold weather. Thanks guys a bunch.
