Would you let me know which of these you use and why? Also, if you could comment on it's overall performance and feel. From reading past posts, some have complained about rougher shifting while driving harder.

Which is more durable in your opinion? Basically, which is the best and why...

TIA

Well, i use redline schockproof gear oil. I noticed a difference in the ease of shifting before and after the redline. At the same time i also did the es shifter bushing install, which tightened everything up nicely. So, now the shifts are nice and concise and smooth at the same time.

I currently use Redline MT-90 and plan on switching to Redline Shockproof sometime. My car shifts great, but it also has a JUN ultralight flywheel.

I use Redline because that's what's available at my local stores. Less effort to shift but also poorer synchro action between 1st and 2nd gears when cold. Otherwise, I could tell no difference from OEM gear oil. I never tried Motul.

I've used both Redline and Motul, and definately reccommend Redline. The shiftts are much more smoother and precise.

I have some Royal Purple that I will be putting in shortly. I bought it because it was a good price and has gotten some pretty good reviews.

Motul. Not to thick not to thin. It's just right. Good enough for and a 400hp sr20de+t and Mike Kojima .

I've had royal purple in my transmission for a while, primarily because it was the easiest fluid to find. Its been working pretty well so far, only 'user error' shifting sometimes... :)

Redline in mine since I've had it. 25+ track weekends. Problems: zero.

redline mt-90 ... price is right (6 bucks a bottle) smooth shifting (until right at about 7k miles then its back to the grind for me again(easier to misshift))

rule of thumb.. becuase its cheap and its good... replace it often..

10k miles is what i recommend.

Redline MT-90 at the moment. Thinkin that i may step up to shock proof cause i see a few more power mods in my future. Not to mention went to the drag strip and really liked it.
Was runnin some generic GL-5 for a while, WHOOPS! Progressively got notchier from 105K to 120K miles.
Switched to the synth and seems smoother now.
A cheap upgrade. Might as well. Specially if you see ANY racing.

Ya can pick up Red Line at www.myoilshop.com

Redline Heavy Shockproof, since July of this year. Mike K. suggested it as one way to help keep my tranny from breaking.

So far, it's taken about 10 dragstrip launches at 5,200rpm without a hitch.

Drive a few minutes to thin it out before doing anything too aggressive, IMHO.

Like Paul said... www.myoilshop.com is the place to get it online.

redline MT90. A bit easier to shift when it's cold and way smoother when you're shifting quickly. When i did the tranny oil, motor mounts, and shifter bushings it made the car way more fun to drive.
PS 6 bucks! we pay lie 16$ a quart up here!!!
