Has anyone debadged their NX?

I have removed the 100NX badge on the back, but I'm left with the two Nissan badges.

I want to rid my car of these, but they are attached to the bodywork so I don't want to mess with this just in case it leaves a mess!!

Ideas, suggestion, help............

you could take them off, butt you have to close the holes,you do it ith a welding machine,of course you have to paint everything back

the back doesnt have holes but the front does. mines been debaged for a while now, I love the "What the fuck is that thing" responce after whopping up on something at the track. The best though was saturday at the drag strip, a mustang guy that was parked next to me in the staging lanes says " Is that AWD?" Me " no its front" him "oh (pointing at my azenis) why do you have drag slicks on all four wheels then?" Me " they're not slicks there a semi- road race tire" him "?" Me " (motioning like a steering wheel) You know, turning" LOL

Sakerocket...........how did you remove the badges?? And how did you cover the holes?

Unfortunately people think my car is an Isuzu without the badges :rolleyes: haha. I shaved my antennae to cause I hated the way it sticks up there all the time. Body shop did it for me when they painted my whole car and installed the body kit.

Fingernails, WD40, bug and tar remover and paitence. It will come off but it is best done a little at a time.

I used 3M general purpose adhesive remover for the back. And the front I just took it off I havent gotten to do all my body work yet.

The rear 100NX badge was easy to remove, so I think I'll be debadging my car this weekend!! :D

i was thinking about keeping the nissan badge, getting rid of the nx2000, and shaving the keyhole :D

yeah it's very noticeable, but so is my dents ;) btw nx2000racer in europe nx 2000's were called a 100nx gti.

:D Sorry, Its exactly the same as your NX2000 badges, just different wording!! ;)

I dabadged the rear back in 99 when I first bought my NX. I did the front and antannae last year when I was having some other body work done. I love the way it looks without them.

yeah I saw Matts (the other saphire blue one) At GLB2 and thought it looked good so I stole it from him. We ought to get together sometime matt. Hang out for a weekend or something.

I cant this week I've got a lot going on. Do you remember those projector headlights I found for the NX years ago? I've almost got it figured out how to make them. I'm excited. My buddy that is lletting me co drive his f-mod car next year has been helping me make the mold. cool ehh

Its an open wheel 1971 zink C4, its a formulaV with a bug motor that turned a dyno with 126 rwhp and weighs 700 lbs! this car is a blast. This car is usually about 14 seconds ahead of the fenderd cars at the local autox on a 60 second course. its fast.
