Hey buds,

I still have my original dist cap/ rotor in the car and since I had a problem those items recently in my '96 Cherokee, thinks it would be a good item to replace them. I sent for a Beck cap and a Standard Motor products rotor from our friends at rock auto. Sorta disappointed when I found out they didn't have copper terminals but, I guess alum. I didn't get yet (10 degrees out this am) to see what the originals are made outa but does any mfg. make them out of copper or shouldn't I worry about these alum ones.:confused:

OEM cap contacts are not copper.

Thanks, I put the Rock Auto parts in over the weekend. As mentioned, noticed the cap wasn't copper but the rotor tip looked like it was. :confused: Maybe not but the cap looked like it was replacement time anyway:cool:.
