It is crazy. Found this pic that was taken outside my house in Kindsbach Germany. I bought the 91 SE-R in Germany for 50 Bucks. The original owner bought it in New Jersey and had it shipped to Ramstein AFB. 2nd owner drove it for a while then starter went bad. It was sitting in our dorm parking lot for a while and this was back in 2000. I just started to get into imports and was reading an article about an SE-R in Sport Compact Car. I was like no way this car is an SE-R that is sitting in my dorm parking lot. I ran outside, and sure enough, rear disc, SE-R badge  I knew the kid that owned it, and ran to his dorm room. I asked him what he was going to do with the car, he says he is going to junk it:eek2: I asked him how much they were going to charge him for the tow. He says $50 bucks, I wrote him a check and he gave me the New Jersey title and it was mine:biggthump

A new starter, and new MAF, it was running cherry. I went with a Hotshot header, Place Racing intake, UR pullies, advance the timing, and a cheap a$$ pacesetter exhaust and short throw shifter. And yes, I was driving this on the Autobahn on a daily basis would see 125 mph and it was legal. Was rolling on a stock suspension then, and it was a bit loose. I chose to post this story because some cars have a unique history. I brought it back from Germany and drove it for 1 year and was stupid to sell it. I sold it for 3G to Shane on this forum. 2 years back at a Nissan meet/car show in Hartford CT I was looking around at some of the classics. I see this one, has a black trunk, it threw me off at first and didn't bother to look at it. Then my by boy Luis wanted to look around again. This time I look more time to closely look at it, there was no rust (my se-r was one of the cleanest I have ever seen rust wise, they don't use salt in Germany), and I notice the sunroof visor that I had put on. I was like :eek2:, I couldn't believe it was sitting there. I hear this Young kid named Corey about 19 was telling someone else that this car was in Germany. He has my name on the reg from Germany and the I tell him I was the owner. It was crazy. He loved the car and it was good to see it still on the road. I wonder where it is now......

Oh, still in the Nissan scene with my 99 G20T, but now thanks to this classic that was my first project car, now my new project  Way to many mods to list...but it handles very well. Bonus points for who can tell what my girlfriend drives, you can see it image reflecting off of the GT ;)

Its really tough to see, the image is really distorted. But if I had just one guess, I would say Civic Si. If I had two, the second would be a G37....
