: Transporting vehicles from SoCal to convention
SER96VPEC 12-17-2009, 06:16 PM So OptimumSE-R and I have been chatting about getting our cars to the convention. One of the options besides actually driving them the whole way from SoCal is to have them transported. He posted up an ad on uship.com to see what kind of bids we get. We have about 6 interested people so far. Here is the link: 6 vehicles for transport roundtrip | Cars & Light Trucks Shipping & Moving Service - uShip (http://www2.uship.com/shipment/6-vehicles-for-transport-roundtrip/34602528/)
I'm sure Optimum will chime in a second and if he could provide a list of those interested including myself and Martin.
OptimumSE-R 12-17-2009, 06:18 PM Let's get this rollin! if you're going to flake, don't even bother. haha.

By modified they mean RICE. custom body work. mainly cosmetics. lol
he did mention they are lowered. lol.
Well yeah!
Mr. Sleeper 12-17-2009, 08:18 PM This guy, y don't u guys just CARAVAN down there. It seems like it'd be fun and cheaper:)
SER96VPEC 12-17-2009, 09:36 PM It would be a fun and uncomfortable trip.:eek2: And if we break something at the track?:squint:
OptimumSE-R 12-17-2009, 09:41 PM We're trying to see what our options are. if we don't get a good deal on the transport, then We go with plan B.
Plan B- Rent a 2-3 car hauler and haul them hoes up there!
if that doesn't work, we go with Plan C.
Plan C- Drive the bitches up there 24hrs straight!
Mr. Sleeper 12-17-2009, 11:18 PM Any of you guys have a Class A or B License to use a car hauler? What truck u have that's gonna b strong enough 2 do that?
Cesar D 12-17-2009, 11:51 PM Is one of those listed my car? lol:D
btw, I hit up my brother in law (he's a truck driver) about this & he's gonna check who he knows with a transporter.
Mr. Sleeper 12-18-2009, 12:08 AM I 4got about breaking things on the track........
SER96VPEC 12-18-2009, 12:26 AM I was doing the math and driving out and flying will cost about the same, roughly $345 in gas, or $370 for the roundtrip flight through Southwest.
OptimumSE-R 12-18-2009, 12:43 AM but with no fun in taking your whip.
SER96VPEC 12-18-2009, 12:52 AM i'd pick up a rental and thrash that around the track.
