I have a knock sensor light. From what I have read, it could be a bad sensor or bad wiring. Before I spend time and money trying to diagnose, I need to know if having a bad knock sensor puts the ecu into a limp mode of any sort.
It's a track only car, so I don't care about the CEL. I'm running moderate timing and 93 octane, so I'm really knot worried about knock either.
The car "feels" a tad slow for being gutted and a high-port intake cam, header and 2" exhaust, but it has 148k on the odo, so it may just be tired. If no one knows for sure, my first step is to do a couple dyno pulls to see if maybe my butt dyno is reading low.:D
Thanks all
