Has anyone here used a greddy turbo on their engine? I ask this because a friend of mine's shop is a major greddy dealer in the northeast US. He knows I want to go turbo this winter and asked if I would use a greddy turbo kit.
This friday I'm going in to talk more about it in detail. I know they don't make a kit for the se-r. I think he is going to try to get a kit custom made possibly. They make a turbo manifold in japan for an RNN14 (gti-r?), which I think will work w/ my USDM sr20de. If this manifold will not work someone will speak up.
Anyway, he has great prices on greddy products and said he would give me a smokin deal. Depending on the price & if it is even feasable, I might try out this "prototype" kit. Whadda yall think? TIA

P.S. Do all greddy turbos come with a round flange instead of rectangular or square?

Buy a kit its alot easier. hot shot makes a pretty killer kit i am probably going to buy. hotshot.com:D

I don't, as of now, have a few grand to plop down for a kit. He said it would take 3 months to import. During this time I can make payments/ deposits. Nothings set in stone yet.

Manifold will fit for sure. Problem is I believe all Greddy turbo's are Mitsu. units. They have different flanges than what the JDM manifold will have. Seems like an aweful lot of time and $$$ to get something thta will not be any better than the GTI-R turbo "kit" for lack of better term. I would go GTI-R mani. and T28. If you want more power, use that manifold and an HK$ GT series turbo. At least you won't have to modify the manifold. Otherwise, go F-MAX or one of the other manifolds available.

The hot shot kit is only like $3,200 on sentra part .com or .net or whatever. it comes with everything a fr mount,turbonetict t3 turbo, tubular manif. ,external wastegate,injectors, piping,bov,jwt ecu,2.5 in downpipe. I think its a good deal. what do you think?

I havent found a better one yet besides the f-max kit which is very expensive.:(

Anyway what do i know right, i guess its all up to you anyway:)
