92 s13 wont go into base timing mode [Archive]

Engine warmed up and the tps is disconnected. I disconnect the tps with the engine off. Reading consult I can see that ecu is setting the aac at 50% open which is a lot of air and this causes idle to go to 1200. The timing is like at 10. If I use consult to go into timing mode, the aac goes to 10% and timing is at 20. The computer is reading a voltage of 5.1v for tps when it is disconnected. With the tps connected, it idles pretty good and the aac works the way it should. I put a new tps in and it is adjusted.
