: Anyone with a Techtom CMX-100 ???
NismoPC 09-18-2002, 12:44 PM Anyone have a Nissan Techtom CMX-100 N?
How do you like it?
Reason I ask is Techtom just released the Nissan CMX-100 N2 which has:
Speed (km/h)
Water Temp.(ーC)
Engine RPM (X10 RPM)
MAP Sensor (mmHg)
Ignition Timing (deg)
Intake Air Temp.(ーC)
Diagnostic Code
Same as the Honda unit. For $165 or so, seems to be a bargain for what you get!
92SE-R 09-18-2002, 12:57 PM I like mine. It does what I needed it to do.
eric96ser 09-18-2002, 01:16 PM I was going to get a CMX, but I knew the OBD2 one would come out. Maybe we can get another group deal together. Where's Greg?

Hmm? Sounds good! Greg. Yoohoo! Oh Greg! ;)
jacen99SE 09-18-2002, 01:59 PM Did it really lose MAF voltage? I like that part. Or will the Nissan one measure MAF voltage instead of the MAP sensor?

Well, since I could not read Japan on there Japanese site, I just copied the specs of the Honda unit. So, with that said, it should actually be this:
Speed (km/h)
Water Temp.(ーC)
Air Flow Meter (V)
Injector Duty (%)
Engine RPM (X10 RPM)
Ignition Timing (deg)
Intake Air Temp.(ーC)
Battery (V)
Just taking from what I can here:
http://www.techtom.co.jp/cmx100.html
(Look at CMX-100 N2 NEW!)
eric96ser 09-18-2002, 03:51 PM I hope it reads the CEL codes.
eric96ser 09-18-2002, 04:00 PM After using babelfish to translate it, the CMX-100N2 does not read codes :( It does read MAF voltage
CMX-100 N1 (the NISSAN old type connector)
- Peak hold functional * injector duty indication - Indicatory item Skyline * sill beer other things
Corresponding model ->
SPd Vehicle speed (km/h)
TnP Engine water temperature (DEGC)
AFr Air flow voltage (V)
Dut Injector opened valve ratio (%)
Unit indication it is
CMX-100 N2 (the NISSAN international standard connector)
- Peak hold function - Indicatory item V 35 skyline * M 35 ステージア other things
Corresponding model ->
SPd Vehicle speed (km/h)
RPn Engine rpm (rpm)
IGt Ignition timing (deg) (*)
UtP Engine water temperature (DEGC)
ItP Inhalation air temperature (DEGC) (*)
Afr Air flow voltage (V) (*)
BAt Battery voltage (V)
Unit indication it is
(*) In the non- on-board vehicle of the sensor it is indication invalid
SERprise In WV 09-18-2002, 04:06 PM If/when the CMX-100N2 becomes available in the USofA, sure, I'd be interested in doing a Group Buy here on the forum.
Lemme' call Technosquare and see what the ETA is for this hitting our shores.

Thanks Greg! Really appreciate it!!!! ;)
jacen99SE 09-19-2002, 10:13 AM So the N2 loses injector duty cycle, but gains RPM, ignition timing, battery voltage, and intake air temperature.
What I really want is the N1 with ignition timing and RPM, or the N2 with injector duty cycle.
What I have is the N1. Maybe I should have bought the MDM... Oh well.

Use both ;)
The N2 model plugs into the OBD2 port under the dash. I'm curious if this will work on non Nissan cars. Most of the other OBD2 loggers work on a range of cars.

Kick Ass! :p
Mndgy 09-19-2002, 08:15 PM hey?, Would these work on our 97-98's?
adammag 10-01-2002, 04:37 PM from all the other posts i've read, the techtoms only work through '97. Maybe this new one will be different.
