Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my Pulsar GTi-R with the following setup:
Siemens Deka low impedance 750cc injectors
z32 maf
B13 JWT ECU @ 3bar from sr20forum member
The problem that I'm having is that it won't idle at 3 bar of fuel pressure, only at extremely high fuel pressure of 72 psi.I've been running the car like this and I was expecting that the plugs would be black, but they are brown, which I assume it is running more on the lean side. The car is also reading low vaccum at idle and I can't locate any noticeable leaks. However, it is able to rev and clear out fine at 10 psi of boost. I also noticed that the car could be running alot better and I have been trying different things to see if it will help, but no luck.
I just remembered that the JWT ecu I got was programmed for RC Engineering high impedance 740 injectors. So I was wondering, would running low impedance injectors with a computer programmed for high impedance injectors cause the car to run crappy? Could it be a timing problem? I would appreciate any suggestions at this point. Thanks!
