hey all, so far i have learned a ton of info from the forums so far, being a convert from hondas i have a question that i cannot find a definet answer to. im getting all the parts together to do my swap, i have an 92 se-r and i just got my sr20det, what ecu do i use? the jdm one that came with the motor and a piggy back or the usdm with a piggy back? --just to get me going until i can get a calcum ecu.

Depends if you got the right maf. jdm ecu + jdm maf, usdm ecu + usdm maf. I've tried jdm ecu and usdm maf it won't run. I didn't have a jdm maf so I ran usdm ecu and usdm maf with an safc.

I run JDM ecu + Z32maf + SAFC. it runs. and before that i was using JDM ECU + USDM SR20 MAF + SAFC and it ran. without the SAFC it ran like crap, and I could barely keep it running.
