I been searching for info on the brakes for B13's but had no luck, i also checked se-r.net and not what i'm looking for.

what are the difference of non se-r brakes to se-r brakes? I know that se-r's have rear disc brakes. While the others have drum brakes in the rear.

I don't think the fronts are different. NX2000's have bigger brakes up front.

According to the FSM for my B13, there were 3 front brake applications:

1. All GA16DE Sentras got the CL18VD brakes -- 240mm x 18mm vented rotor.

2. SE-Rs got the AD18VE with 250mm x 18mm vented rotors.

3. NX2000 got the venerated AD22VF brakes with 257mm x 26 mm vented rotors.

It's not clear to me what front brakes the NX1600s got. In the rear, the GA16DEs got drums and the SR20De cars all got the same disc brake setup -- 234mm x 7mm solid rotor.

are the calipers actually different between the NX2000 and the SE-R? I've seen the NX2000 calipers listed with the same part number as SE-R calipers on sites like OReillyAuto.com and so forth. I'd hate to get a part I don't need if just the rotors are larger.

NX2000s that were made in Japan (vin starts with J) have the bigger calipers.
NX2000s that were made in Tn have vin that starts with 1 and calipers the same as SE-R.

They are definitely different. The parts listings for B13 brakes are all screwed up. Specify that the car is built in Japan and you will get the NX2000 parts (both rotors and calipers).

I've never heard of NX's being made in Tennessee. If you ever find one post up the vin number. As far as I've ever seen all NX's are japan made. JN1 starting vin number.

The b13 Sedans were made either in TN or Japan.

Part number for front brake pads on an SE-R has 509 in it, And NX2000 has 549.

The Rears on both cars are the same.

the B13 Sunny/Sentra Supersaloon that was sold here in the Philippines was built in Japan.

Front Calipers are stamped B60 - crappy brakes for downhill runs after 10km, they start fading fast, mushy brake pedal and no bite - and thats with a full bleed, new pads, brake mc and booster.

i'll be happy just having Stock SE-R brakes at this point

I've never heard of NX's being made in Tennessee.

And you never will as none were made there. The confusion is entirely the result of incorrect information placed into parts catalogs.
