I talked to a place called CTC Motorsports today. They make a T3/T4 turbo kit for RWD SR20 blocks. They claim that the turbo they use can make 420whp @ 20psi, but they also claim that it spools around 3200rpm. These are the specs they gave me-
T3 Turbine Housing
- .63 A/R Housing
- stage 3 turbine wheel - apparantly it's custom, and has 1
extra fin
T04S Compressor Housing
- 60 trim compressor wheel
Do the claims of this turbo seem a little unrealisitc to anyone else? Just wondering because I'm looking at buying an HKS GT3037 soon and saw this turbo from CTC, but something about it just doesn't make sense. Oh, and they want $800 for the turbo. Anyone? Rob?
