... to get your Tsuru grille and fillers painted? I'm thinking seriously about taking the Tsuru plunge and am trying to get a handle on total costs. Also thinking that I might just prime and paint myself, since I'm hoping to repaint the whole car anyway at some point.

ALSO, can anyone state definitively that they are direct bolt-in for the 93-94 classic? No wires to be extended, all connectors just hook right in, or is there custom work to be done?

TIA

ok well if you have never painted plastic parts before don't do it. When painting plastic you need to clean the plastic well and then prime it well. Also on the 93-94 there is wiring to be done no matter what, unless you don't want the parking lights to work and keep you USDM turnsignals.

you don't really need new fillers either. All you really need is the grill painted since the fillers you will get are exacly the same as your 93-94

you only have to connect a total of 8 wires 4 on each side. IF you want to use the JDM turnsignals and inner parking lamps

1. I have painted plastic before. No worries.
2. Do the instructions in the NPM article apply to 93-94 cars?
3. CAN ANYONE ANSWER THE QUESTION ABOUT HAVING A SHOP PAINT THE PARTS? I'm just trying to get an idea.

TIA again.

yes, yes we are. j/k. actually i have had em in my room for like 2 weeks now, i think i will finally give it to my friend to have em painted. my friend told me he could get it painted for 30-40 bux so i figured i might aswell have it done professionally. as for price it depends on where u buy em, but expect to spend around 300 -350 for the kit. these things look nice just sitting here, can't wait to install em
